Networking, Learning, and Spotting Emerging Trends

HLTH Europe is more than just talks – it’s a networking and learning goldmine. From my past experiences (and a bit of intel on this year’s plans), I can say the conference is engineered to help you meet the who’s who of healthcare. Attendees will find global networking opportunities at every turn: whether it’s bumping into a hospital CIO in the expo hall, chatting with a digital health startup founder over coffee, or meeting investors at a reception, the event is teeming with chances to form meaningful connections. With participants from 50+ countries and all sectors (payers, providers, pharma, tech, government, startups), it’s a unique melting pot. The organizers even have a curated Market Connect matchmaking program to ensure people with common interests find each other for targeted discussions. As a Solut team member, I plan to take full advantage of this – there’s no better place to expand our network across Europe’s health innovation community.

Learning is another huge draw. The cutting-edge insights on offer span from AI (of course) to digital transformation, precision medicine, health data interoperability, and beyond. The agenda boasts everything from visionary keynotes to hands-on workshops and roundtables. For instance, one session will explore bridging trust and measurable outcomes in digital health with leaders in health policy and equity, which speaks to how we turn tech innovation into real-world results. Another track zeroes in on mental and behavioral health innovation – a crucial area postpandemic. And let’s not forget the informal learning: simply walking the exhibition floor or watching live demos of new healthtech solutions can spark ideas. The Startup and Innovation Showcase areas will be like a glimpse into the future, where we can discover game-changing technologies and next-gen solutions up close. I’m personally hoping to spot a few breakthrough devices or apps that we’ll be talking about for the rest of the year. Finally, HLTH Europe is also about inspiration and fun. The organizers know how to keep energy high – from the “HLTHbite” food festival to networking happy hours and even a beachthemed social, there are plenty of chances to unwind and bond with fellow attendees. These casual settings often lead to the most memorable conversations (and yes, I’ll admit, collecting some conference swag and enjoying a Dutch stroopwafel at HLTHbite is on my agenda too!).
